Architectural Realtors Build Business with Style

Team of Realtors propel their business through websites that target architectural real estate in Long Beach and Orange County, California: SoCalModern.com, RanchoStyle.com and CalBungalow.com

Long Beach, CA (PRWEB) April 29, 2008 -- Doug Kramer, Rochelle Kramer and Steffie Hands, Realtors with Long Beach, California based RE/MAX Real Estate Specialists, today announced the growing success of their architectural websites. The team has brought an innovative approach to real estate in Southern California by focusing on architectural styles, and by creating online marketplaces where sellers benefit from increased visibility for their properties.

"Our business begins with sellers of architectural properties," says Rochelle, who in addition to being a Realtor also manages the team's three real estate websites. "Without sellers, without listings, you cannot create a real estate marketplace, and when you have an online marketplace like we have, the buyers come calling."

It is a 'build it and they will come' philosophy that has proved successful for the real estate team.

The team's first website was www.RanchoStyle.com, which Doug and Rochelle created to promote the Cliff May Rancho Estates on the east side of Long Beach, a 700 home tract designed by renowned architect Cliff May. Having lived in the neighborhood for 12 years, the Kramers knew their subject matter well and the business thrived.

The next evolution of the business model was www.SoCalModern.com, which reached beyond the Rancho Estates to include other midcentury modern and contemporary architecture in all parts of Long Beach, Palos Verdes and Orange County. It was at this point that Steffie Hands joined the team.

"I have always loved architecture, and I was a fan of the Kramer's websites and business model, so I approached them with my passion for Bungalow homes," says Steffie. "They embraced the concept immediately, and the result is www.CalBungalow.com, which has enormous potential given the substantial Bungalow and Craftsman market in Long Beach. We now work as a team to sell and promote these significant architectural styles."

The business model appears to be working, for the team finished first in sales in 2007 in the 75 member RE/MAX office in which they work. "The demand for good architecture is significant," says Doug, "and it is only going to grow as more people learn about these homes, experience them through our websites, and get out to see them in person." The team has also been responsible for ten individual homes being published in books and magazines or featured on television shows in the past five years.

"Getting your home published is very satisfying for the homeowners, and it doesn't hurt your property value either," says Rochelle. "It is one residual benefit of having very visible websites."
